Our beloved fundraiser was started by these guys, left to right:
David West, John Dick, Stacy Carpenter and Lauren Poussard.
David was on the team that donated materials and his talents as a carpenter to actually build the Swampwalk that we all enjoy John and Stacy are Wetland Scientists, who had surveyed and worked on the project with David.
Lauren is a local photographer who happens to be a huge fan of the Swampwalk and is a friend of David’s.
Together, the four teamed up and with no notice and no advertising beyond Facebook, to put together one of the North Shore’s most beloved Santa event of the Season.
