2021 – Beverly High School MCJRTOC

I also happen to be on the Beverly Holiday Parade Committee and once, when setting up the parade, I got to talking to the JRTOC kids and thought someday I have to reach out to them and see if they wanted to be a part of our event.

This year I finally remembered to! I reached out to Sergeant Major Ken Oswald who leads the MCJROTC Program at Beverly High School and he was able to get FOUR volunteers to take shifts in the cold.

I was especially excited to have our first girls at the Swamp!  That was special.  The Cadets were all excellent with the little ones and just great kids all around.  It was a delight to have them.

Our 2014 Marine was also a graduate of Beverly HS and the MCJROTC Program – way to go BHS!
