27 Nov A Message from Santa about our 2020 Fundraiser
Hey Swampwalk Families,
By now we hope you’ve had a chance to see our posts on Facebook, but Santa and I had to make the hard call to cancel this years event 🙁
This was no easy decision, as our event is literally the HIGHLIGHT of our Christmas Season. We can’t WAIT to see you guys, many of you year after year, at our annual event.
Sadly, despite our event being outdoors, it’s still very difficult to distance ourselves on the boardwalks and observation deck, and we want to be sure we keep everyone safe – especially Santa, as he has a majorly HUGE job to do in a few weeks.
Keeping each other safe and healthy this year is the greatest give we can give one another in 2020, so please, keep well and be sure to come visit us in 2021.
2021 marks our 10th event (well, I suppose 9th since this year is cancelled…) and we hope to do something REAL special for you all to celebrate this milestone!
In the meanwhile, we hope you will consider our VIRTUAL event this year, and make a donation via our website. The need for gifts this year is greater than ever because of the pandemic. Let’s keep the spirit of our event alive and help some children in 2020!
Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t WAIT to see you next year!
Santa & Lauren
PLEASE MAKE A DONATION TO OUR 2020 VIRTUAL SANTA AT THE SWAMPWALK EVENT!
